  8. Bird watching enthusiasts are known to travel far distances in order to watch for certain types of birds that are not able to be seen in their home regions. The difference in locations require different types of binoculars. Two years ago, all binoculars were essentially the same. Now a bird watcher can purchase a pair of binoculars that can add a significant increase in the pleasure of this enjoyable outdoor activity. Birds are not watched strictly for their beauty but also for their natural behaviors. An example is the hummingbird. Digital Binoculars are of significant benefit in documenting this natural behaviors to show others or for documentation for posterity. These small beautiful creatures differ depending on the time of year and the area of watching. In the United States, the country is broken up into the southern, the midwest, and the northwest. Each area has its own species of hummingbirds. As the location changes, so does the precipitation. Here is where water resistant binoculars can allow a birdwatcher to concentrate on the birds and not on the precipitation and how it might be damaging their binocular investment. Look for further parts to this informative paper in the upcoming days. http://www.aplusbinoculars.com

  16. ROUTE 66 ENTHUSIASTS –

If you’re interested in Route 66 history or fine photos of the Mother Road from 1980 to the present, check out http://www.myroute66pictures.com . Every month I offer a free, downloadable photo from my series, suitable for you to make your own print to about 8×8 inches or 8×10 inches. Of course, I also make fine archival quality signed prints for sale. (By the way, they make excellent gifts.)

My site also has a (very long!) page devoted to the history of Route 66 from its inception in 1926 to the 1984 replacement of its last mile by Interstate 40 at Williams, Arizona, the historical information courtesy of the U.S. Dept. of the Interior Special Resource study on Route 66.

You can email me with any questions you may have regarding the Route, from my site (listed above).

    Happy travels, Tom Ferderbar

  17. Traveling over the holiday this year? Don’t forget to get your STRESS LESS
aromatherapy bath and body massage oils for those moments when you let
yourself finally relax. To avoid flight delays, choose an early flight, they are
less likely to be delayed and above all else try to avoid the last flight of the day,
you don’t want to get stuck overnight somewhere. AROMA was introduced in
2003 and is used for stress relief using a subtle blend of lavender,
chamomile and sage to help ease those worries and tensions away. Best used
    in the evening.
