Online Shopping Made Easy by my Virtual Shopping Mall
I first came up with the idea for Easy Place to Shop a little over a year ago now. I was doing some research for client. (I have been an Online Marketing Consultant, and have specialized in SEM for years) I remember thinking that browsing threw a variety of different websites while doing keyword searches was not very convenient and time consuming. Thinking about what to search for, how to search for it, going threw sites looking for the best deals, by the time I went threw 3 or 4 different product searches and 30-40 sites I was done, and had been online for over an hour and a half. I thought to myself that there should be a better, easier, more fun of a way to shop online. About 9 months later I launched a Virtual Online Shopping Mall called Easy Place to Shop.com.
I spent the next 3 months before I actually started building the Internet Shopping Mall researching shoppers online, how people were currently online shopping, were people we shopping online at, what types of websites people liked, and other things like that. I first decided that I wanted to categorize websites for people instead of them having to create categories themselves by doing keyword searches. I was not the first person to have this idea. Directories have been Online since there has been such a thing as being online. Most Directories however are primarily used to help website owners build what’s called link popularity. Link popularity is something that helps websites move up in Search Engine rankings.
There are not many Directories that I found that are actual Internet Shopping Directories, built for Shopping Online.
