Geothermal Pool In Yellowstone Park

This is a shot of a geothermal pool in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. USA

These geothermal pools are fascinating to observe, and photograph.
The atmosphere around these pools is very harsh. The air is very heavily sulfuric, and very steamy from the hot water of the pools. The colors you see are naturally occuring from the different forms of algea that live in the different temperatures along the sides of the pools. They are very deep, very old, and very mysterious. These pools shown here are very calm. Some are very violent, as they boil, spatter, and even geyser into the air. Some are watery, like you see here, while others are very thick like mud. The ground in this area here is very crusty. You must walk on special raised walkways, or risk the fate of falling through the crust, and into these boiling hot pools. It’s a dangerous, but beautiful place. Definitely one of the most unique places on earth.

Abstract Art with Feeling!
The art of Norcross, GA artist Elsie Porter is an expression of both her mind and her heart. She paints abstract art that calls forth all kinds of feelings, from love to confusion. Although somewhat cathartic, her works are always full of color and energy. Her work is displayed both publicly and privately in collections from New York to London. She likes the fluidity of latex, the structure and richness of acrylic.
These paintings are each one-of-a-kind and vibrantly expressive – they make a great gift for a special occasion that your friend--or you--will want to remember often. The title and description for each painting convey what Elsie felt as she painted, and her art can arouse those same feelings in others.
Please see our selection at http://uniquegiftsmarket.com.

Original photographs of Lighthouses, Windmills & Bridges

This section features my original photographs of lighthouses, windmills & bridges.
Lighthouses Windmills & Bridges

There are some beautiful lighthouses and winmills that I photographed in Nantuckett and Cape Cod, Massachussetts over the summer, as well as some shots from California and New Jersey. They look great as cards or full sized prints.

Please feel free to browse my complete portfolio of original photography and graphic art designs.
There is a very diverse selection of subjects to choose from.

Lighthouses, Windmills and Bridges

This section features my original photographs of Lighthouses, Windmills & Bridges. These photographs were taken in various places as I've traveled across America. Check often for updates. Upon request, I can convert any photograph into a digital brushstroke painting, which enhances the texture, and other characteristics of the image quite nicely.
Feel free to browse my complete portfolio. There is a wide selection of different styles to choose from.
Ordering is easy! Credit cards and PayPal are accepted. International delivery is no problem.

A reminder of times gone by...
Melinda Clair's renderings of country barns speak to the significance of the farm as an integral part of the American landscape. Her use of colors and contrast is striking in these original oil paintings and reinforce both the strength and solitude of America's heartland. In recent years, she has included several unique barns of the European countryside, a reminder of the global farming community. What a wonderful gift for a good friend--or yourself! Pick your favorite at www.uniquegiftsmarket.com [Done in “Fine Art

I have 2 new paintings to introduce to you! The first one is called Water’s Edge. It’s more of a nostalgic painting of 2 kids just on the edge of the water, seeing if they will get wet or not. It brings you back to the days when the adults were their age or younger. The second painting is Drink of Water. If you are a horse lover, then this is for you. Thank you for visiting www.phoenixtreeart.com.

Two Men holding a heavy weight 15th Century Italian Artist Ink and wash drawing highlighted with white chalk, gesso on grey paper by Domenico Mecarino Beccafumi - Siena 1484-1551 - Probably more than any other artitst of his time he exploit comtre-jour and lighting effects, as in the great nocturnal Birth of the Virgin altarpiece, 1543 now in Siena Pinacoteca. Labelled a "Mannerist" He assimilated Florentine, Umbrian and Roman influences into Sienese idiom traceable back to the Gothic art of Duccio. All of the Buccafumi work, despite internal evolution and change, combines calligraphic line and rhythmic contours with intense colourism. He made many trip to Rome as in 1511,1519, 1541. He was able to study all of Rafael paintings. He was intermittenly throughout the rest of his life, employed designing episode of biblical history in the pavement of Siena cathedral. In 1538-39 he worked in Pisa cathedral. Beccafumi demonstrated the ability to improvise on all'antica motifs, expecially in architecture, and his grasp of the principles of perspective.

Antonio Allegri called Correggio -Italian Artist 1494-1534 - 15th Century Drawing. Correggio was the most eclectic yet innovative High Renaissance painters, prosecursor of the Baroque and even anticipating a Rococo development. Born in Correggio (1494-1534,) in northen Italy he was active mostly in Parma, albeit almost certainly trained in Mantua in the workshop of either Mantegna or Lorenzo Costa. Important, however, is the small group of mythological and allegorical paintings for the Gonzaga. Around 1513-1514 various other influences become discernible in his work. The composition were probably composed by (Durer, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Giorgione, Mantegna,) but maybe reflected by Correggio. Details figure drawings testify to Correggio meticulouls preparation from the life for the orchestration of his soaring, forshortened figures and clouds masses. In Correggio's religious works the effects express spiritual beauty, they give unsurpassed sensuality to his mythological paintings. His work is in many internayional Museum and private collections.
