The Bible was written by holy men of God many years ago. They lived in a different culture and wrote in different languages. The English translations of the bible were also done many years ago, so even the English words can be confusing to the reader. The Illustrated Bible Dictionary is a wonderful tool for bible readers to use. It defines biblical words into everday English. Have you ever wondered if the stories you heard as a kid were accurate?
